This installation showcases the level of detail, craftsmanship, and engineering precision that Canopy UK brings to every commercial kitchen environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>A Tailored Extraction System Built for Performance<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the heart of the project is a custom\u2011built extraction canopy featuring integrated air supply and high\u2011efficiency baffle filters. The canopy was designed specifically to suit the operational demands of the site, ensuring optimal airflow, effective grease capture, and compliance with current commercial kitchen ventilation standards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The new canopy was installed directly over a Rational oven and additional new cooking equipment, forming a complete extraction zone that supports both performance and safety. By tailoring the canopy dimensions and airflow calculations to the exact equipment footprint, we ensured maximum efficiency and a comfortable working environment for the kitchen team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video\"><video height=\"480\" style=\"aspect-ratio: 848 \/ 480;\" width=\"848\" controls src=\"https:\/\/www.canopyuk.com\/ourwork\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/864eb6d7-c48a-4124-9b22-8846933ec31e.mp4\"><\/video><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Seamless Collaboration with Sunset Catering<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This project was delivered in close partnership with Sunset Catering, who were upgrading their kitchen to support increased capacity and a more diverse menu. Working side\u2011by\u2011side allowed us to coordinate installation timings, equipment positioning, and service routes, ensuring the entire system integrated smoothly into the new layout.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our teams worked collaboratively from the design phase through to installation, ensuring every detail \u2014 from canopy height to ducting routes \u2014 aligned perfectly with the client\u2019s operational needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Attention to Aesthetics as Well as Engineering<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Beyond performance, the visual finish of the installation was also a priority. All fan boxes were powder\u2011coated in grey, chosen specifically to complement the building\u2019s interior aesthetic. This subtle but important detail helps the system blend seamlessly into its surroundings, maintaining a clean, professional appearance throughout the kitchen and plant areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Powder coating not only enhances the look of the equipment but also provides additional durability, protecting the units from wear, corrosion, and the demanding conditions of a commercial kitchen environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>A Future<\/strong><strong>\u2011Ready Ventilation Solution<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The completed installation provides Sunset Catering with a robust, efficient, and future\u2011proof extraction system capable of supporting their expanding operations. With improved airflow, enhanced filtration, and a bespoke design tailored to their equipment, the kitchen is now equipped to handle high\u2011volume cooking safely and effectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This project is a great example of how thoughtful design, quality manufacturing, and close collaboration can transform a kitchen space \u2014 delivering both performance and style.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div
