Spiral Tube & Fittings

We supply spirally wound ducting and associated fittings from the leading manufacturers in the UK.  All ducts and fittings are produced to and comply with HVCA specification DW144 and are suitable for high, medium and low pressure applications.  Ducting is available in various sizes and to keep things simply you can buy some direct for the site or contact us for more bespoke sizes.

Duct and fittings are supplied in Eurovent sizes from 80mm to 2000mm including 150mm and 300mm diameters.  In addition to our extensive stocks of standard fittings we also offer an in-house fabrication service for ‘specials’ including:

Gas Minding Kit

This is an essential accessory for the safety of any commercial kitchen.  An gas minding kit is a system that will not allow the gas to be turned on until the ventilation system is on and functioning correctly.  The HSE also strongly monitor this as a it truly is a key piece of safety for all your staff.

The gas minding kit is a sensor that must detect an airflow above a certain threshold and then the system will allow the gas isolation valve to open.  If the air is NOT flowing, the gas isolation valve CANNOT open.   CORGI regulations state actual airflow must be measured to determine if the isolation valve should open or not. Any form of electrical, or "fan running" interlock does not comply with the regulations.

The important point here is that it is not sufficient just to have a ventilation system, but that it must actually be working correctly for the chef and staff to be in a safe working environment.
