Highly recommended by our customers we provide the highest professional service and product either pre constructed or bespoke to your exact requirements. But now you have chosen canopy uk.com you can take piece of mind knowing the job will be done on time and to the highest standard monitored by industry watchdog HVCA, who we hold membership with.
The HVCA also works along side other groups such as Trustmark who is a governing body working with industry leaders to stamp out rogue traders. They are there to help you find reputable firms like us to carry out your work and to ensure like us, you get the best of the best. The groups they work with include representatives from leading trade associations and independent certification organisations, as well as trusted consumer bodies like trading standards.
We also work with BESCA which is the Building Engineering Service Competance Accreditations for the notification of commercial and domestic HVCA work under the building regulations. BESCA has been established by the HVCA and authorised by the department for communities and government to operate a competent person’s scheme. Approved documents include F, G, J, L1 and L2 of the building regulations of which BESCA act as an independent assessment and certification body for the building services industry.
During April 2006 all HVCA members will register with the Contractor Health And Safety assessment scheme (CHAS). CHAS was originally developed by local authority health and safety professionals with support from the health and safety executive. It is now available for use by any organisation, public sector or otherwise. Being registered with CHAS will enable members to satisfy the tender conditions relating to health and safety in respect of most work undertaken for public and private clients and for main contractors.
Since April 2003 criteria for HVCA membership have included a requirement for independent inspection and assessment. Potential members must undergo a full inspection and assessment prior to their admission.
It makes sense to do business with the companies that do business with the HVCA and ensure your in safe hands.
